hi,
You can will get the manual for B&O Beomaster 6500 User gide in the following link. If you cant view the manual then sent me your email address. if so i will sent the user gide to that.
O.k. The Beomaster 5000 needs new Quiescent current presets , you can temporarily solve the problem by turning the two presets (in the main amplifiers) fully anti - clockwise .
Your beocord needs new belts for sure .. availiable from CPC of Preston .. Hope this helps ..
Check the r/c is not causing this fault.Clean around the no4 pad.A b&o dealer should still be able to look at this unit assuming all their technicians are not youngsters given its age!
Hi... Try one other thing..headphones. If there's only 1 channel in the headphones then you'll need to take it to a tech. Depends on where in the country you are as to a good tech. I know some...even me in the Northeast
There is a defect in the pre-amp section of the unit. Without seeing it and taking a few measurements, I can't give you any particulars. A rough estimate for a repair wouldbe about $10-$25 in parts plus the local labor rate.
