Hold down the "Window Button" on your keyboard (left of the spacebar) and tap "R", then let go.

A box pops up that lets you type, you should type cmd and hit enter.
(this is the fast way to open the 'Command Prompt' - you can find it in your start menu as well, usually in Accessories)

Now you need to insert the Windows CD if your computer has one, if not that is ok.

sfc /scannow

and hit enter.

This will reinstall any corrupted system files, it is the "System File Check" utility.

When opening canon zoombrowser the error msg. below is shown.

msvcr80.dll is a Microsoft Visual C Runtime file. Try to eliminate the .dll file first as being the culprit. Type in "download msvcr80.dll" in any search engine, download it, save it to your desktop. Using windows search, locate msvcr80.dll on your system, (usually in c:\windows\system32) and rename it to msvcr.dll.old, then copy the newer file to the same location as the oler one, the reinstall your suspect program, reboot, then try to run the program again.
