Question about Cameras
Ion air pro will not charge up. It appears to start charging but then stops quickly and the led flashes red.

Yes you need a new battery, call 1 800-706-2534 and ask for a new battery. If they say no, try again with somebody else until they send you one for free

Its pretty simple to fix. The lithium battery has just depolarized. Just buy a 9V battery.... put them end to end... the 9V and the lithium and touch the metal parts of them. hold for 20 seconds... if it doesn't work, lick the 9V to conduct the electricity better.. hold for 20 seconds and put directly on the charger... I just did this, and it is charging as we speak! good luck!

you now can buy chargers to replace lost ones, i work in a camera shop and sell a brand called Hanmel. they do a range of the most popular brands of camera chargers, just check the back of the hamnel packaging it to see if it it compatable with your battery

I called casio and they told me that when you have a red flashing light on the charger it means the lithium battery is no longer any good. They offered to send me one free of charge. It's been several weeks and I have yet to receive it.
