a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Hi, i forgot about small case rules so if i miss some i'm not shouting, just getting use to the system.
i'm jstevenscpb, you can call me jeffrey. so you're having some fun working with vista compatability issues. when vista was released they had not addressed all of the compatability issues with major brands so the small guy's were left to do the software changes pretty much on their own. Microsoft has been dealing with this issue for some time. they have a hardware and software compatability program that is updated as issues get resolved. I noticed you posted your issue almost 9 months ago. Have you checked their latest hardware/software compatibility list? I'm not familiar with your brand but a lot of brands are made by the same companies. For example Polycom video conference cameras are made with sony components so some times if you work up the food chain you can find workable drivers from the source manufacturer. I noticed a posting that found a source for your brand's camera drivers. That would be a place to start and be sure to see if they have a page on their site for discontinued products if your model isn't a current release. I bought a toshiba laptop last year thinking I could replace vista with xp... wrong... but that's another story. my point is 90% of my software was not compatible and this was mainstream stuff. i found work arounds for everything I took the time to search out and now it's not near the problem but off brands can take time. if you haven't found a solution yet after 9 months on this site you might want to spend the $30 to $60 and get a vista certafied webcam. depends on what your time is worth. my other thought was this might be a test question to see if i can deliver the goods. I hope this helps but after 9 months... good luck.
