SOURCE: crate tube amp will not power up but cooling fan tries to run

Yes.
Are you saying that the only indication that it is running at all is that the fans are running? So the tubes don't light up? No indicators on the front of the amp?
Power supplies that provide multiple voltages, which your amp has, can provide some of the voltages while having a problem that prevents them from providing others, all while not blowing a fuse. If you are not confident in your ability to work on a piece of electronic equipment that has 120VAC coming in and at least 175VDC or more present inside it, bring it to a service center.
The good news is that it is probably not horribly serious. Problems like this can almost always be repaired in a cost effective manner.

SOURCE: crate flexwave 120 tuner and

Hi there,I have the same problem with my flexwave 120. I opened the amp to measure several capacitors on the small effect circuit board. If one of this capaciters have internal short circuit, wich will effect the others causing effects to fail. I removed them one by one to find possible short circuit. All capacitors were ok. I think the problem is in the processor wich is to diffucult to replace. I think it's easier to replace the effects circuit board. But where do we find this board??10_29_2011_6_25_35_am.jpg

I am looking for the proper fuse needed for this amp. I keep purchasing the wrong ones

The fuse rating should be printed on the panet right by the fuse holder. If there's still a question about values, you're best bet is to contact Crate customer service.
Here's the link-
http://www.crateamps.com/support
However, if you're meaning that you keep blowing fuses and therefor think you're instaslling the wrong value, you may have a short in the amp that's casuseing the fuses to blow. In that case, it needs to go to the shop. If you're not a tech, don't poke around inside it. You can make the problem worse, or even get a nasty shock.

Crate flexwave 120 head effects malfunctioning

That is probably a momentary switch that is dirty and sticking. These onboard effects on guitar amps are usually nothing more than a computer sound card and I've found bad connections going to and from them as well. I do think that switch is dirty and sticking, though.

Dsp quit and tuner quit working

Both those LIKELY run on a 5 volt supply within the unit. Check for the presence of that voltage... some new stuff MIGHT be 3.3 volts DC, but you should find those voltages. If missing, it may be a shorted electrolytic filter cap OR the filter cap associated with creating the 5 volts from the supply. You really need the schematic for this... try to procure one.

CRATE GX- 212 HUMS WHEN TURNED ON AND CHIRPS WHEN SHUT OFF. NEED SCHEMATIC AND ADVICE TO ISOLATE THE BAD CAP IN WHICH CIRCUIT THAT IT IS OSCILLATING.

Witth an oscilloscope analyze the ripple voltage across C67, C70, C14, and C12. Pay close attention to the last two of these which are on +/- 15 volt lines.

The "chirp" when shutting down is LIKELY normal and would probably be from teh DSP effects unit as it goes down. The voltages go out of the operating range and the device essentially goes nuts for a second or so.

Crate TX50 DB has noisy DSP circuit when rotating the DSP pot!

When you are changing the DSP effect on the fly, static or noise is NORMAL !!! The DSP is changing the data and having to recalculate on the fly and doesn't mute itself while doing so which results in "garbage sounds out".

The bypass setting should NOT get any tone UNLESS you have feedback going on. If your guitar can "hear" the speakers in the amp, the strings can vibrate and get feedback going.

Unplug the guitar and see if high freq tone is still there on bypass. If the tone is in the musical range, then there is a problem if nothing is plugged in. If it is a VERY weak, very high frequency tone, this may be the digitizing noise from the DSP. On bypass, the audio is likely to still go through the DSP, just not be modified by it.
