Suction when I vaccum the floor but not in the hose

remove the filter from the dirt cup and try again,if you have suction the the filter is clogged.the other is the intake hose that goes into the top of the base where the clear tube is.disconnect the hose from the base tube and take a coat hanger and bend the end into a hook.open the litte flapper door and stick the hanger down in the tube and see if you can pull out a clog of dirt.last but not least,disconnect the top hose completelyfrom the vacuum and see if you can blow through it.if you can't then the flex top hose is clogged.open the little flapper door on the top of the base and turn on the vacuum,if the intake hose isn't clogged then you should have suction.that will tell you that the broblem is in the flex hose or the filter
