the replacement burners seems to not to be set up right. the chap should have had a analiser to make sure the settings are right.you need to call in a pro with the right kit and someone who knows how to use it. your cooker can kill when running like this do not use it

you need to take off the door and bend the hinge pins with a stronge bit of pipe so the door seals. heat has made it warp and do you mean soot box on the rayburn top? if so i have a new one i can send

There is no oil getting to my rayburn, it has just been serviced and the oil tank is full , no christmas dinner if i dont get help!!!!!!!


there may be a firecheck valve in the fuel line that needs reseting look for the little knob underneth

these are now a redundant range parts are no longer available and a good thing too as they cost the earth to run. gas ones cost more to run than oil. try "top of the range ltd" for a solution

Rayburn running problem servicing hints


try droping both burners in caustic soda over night for a deep clean. you will need to do this every 3 months now due to sulpher content. or call "top of the range ltd" for a pressure jet conversion that fixes the problem and saves you fuel. ps you should fit a liner

Could you tell me if an oil fired rayburn will run ok on red diesel, I live in spain and kerosene is not available. thanks peter williams


if it is wick burner it will not work. if it is a single pj a gas oil burner can be fitted that will work. if a twin pj then it will work if you turn up the fuel pressure to 12 bar

Installing fire bricks in rayburn supreme


I have a rayburn - probably 1950s - with the vertical bakelite handles and am not sure whether there should be firebrick at the back of the firebox agains the water jacket.
I had a rayburn once before and thought there were. Can you help please?
