SOURCE: mice poo in the drip pan.how do I remove and clean?

Normally the pans are simply lifted a little to clear a lip formed by the frame and then pulled forward. If it hasn't been out before (or for a while) it may be necessary to slide a metal ruler or similar under the frame and pan to free it from the floor. They have relatively large surface area and it would take much gunk under it to make it seem immovable.

Hi! Try to blow them out using compressed air +-5 bar through heater vents, close the remaining vents and blow each one from the top down. Follow each vent duct to the heater box to see if anything came loose. Another solution is removing heater ducts starting at the heater box, use a thin brazing/weldinng wire with one end bent in a u shape, pushing it into the ducts. Happy hunting. Also check the inside of the heater box using a flash light. This might require some removal of console and facia panels located close to foot conrtols brake/clutch and accellorater pedals.

Lid stuck on work bowl of kitchen aid processor

This tip is used to remove a stuck bowl from the base of a Kitchen Aid tilt-head mixer. It might work for your situation. Fill the bowl with very hot water (use the food shoot as a pour spout). Now use either frozen gel packs, or a bag of ice cubes, and lay the ice on top of the lid. Wait for a few minutes. The hot water with make bowl expand, ice will make lid shrink, thus loosening the tight lid. I'm assuming that the lid edge fits inside of the bowl, like most food processors do. Try to gently move the lid, and see if it'll give.

Our nintendo dsi got water in the top screen, maybe through the speaker? Any idea how we can dry it out?

Hi,

Your best bet to dry it out is to firstly dismantle it as much as possible. Next get an air tight container such as a plastic food box or resealable food bag, put your ds in it and then fill the rest of the space with rice. Close the container and then put it somewhere warm such as an airing cupboard or similar and then leave it there for 1-2 weeks.

You may need to replace the rice after a few days if you find it to be getting sofft/ soggy.

Please do not follow anyones instructions that are along the lines of "place in the oven", its an insane thing to do and far to risky. I have heard of many horror stories about putting ds's in the oven and them melting or stopped working.

Hopefully that should resolve your issue.

BTS out door Installation

I have no idea about how to install the actual device but I have read and tried mounting equipment out of doors and have these suggestions. I would get a rubberized food storage container that the item will fit into and a lid would close on it without problems. No gaps in the lid. I would cut only the holes I need for the connections to the item, put the item in the food storage container and take silicone caulk to seal around the holes used for the wires to connect to the item. If you had to cut a bigger hole for a large connector on a cable, use household window screen to fill in the hole around the cable and then use the silicone to coat and attach the screen to the food storage container

Much good luck.
