The rattling noise is maybe a sort of buzzing only more metallic? Sounds like the coils on the gas valve making it flutter. Causes are the coils and/or the ignitor.

Dryer timer won't shut off at end of cycle. Dryer runs, but no heat. It is a Whirlpool model number LGR4634JQ2.

Since you say that the dryer runs but have no heat, plus the timer won't shut off the odds are the timer is bad. The timer would tell the burner when to be on and when to shut down.

Heat goes off after a min. in use. Whirlpool Model # LGR4634JQ2. Took apart back and cleaned exhaust.

if it's gas it could be that the pilot is not close enough to the gas sensor and when the drier is in motion the extra air motion shuts it off.
if its elect it could be that one of the fuses are not set shut both fuses down and turn them BOTH back on
Gas clean the elect pilot and be sure it is close to the sensor that looks like a little tube

Whirlpool dryer with no heat

Is the igniter glowing yellow? Look inside the pilot access hole and see if it lights up. If it lights up then goes off, it may be the thermal fuse. Once this blows, it has to be replaced. There are pictures all over the internet on the location of this part.
Good luck.
