You can download mp3 music files from the Internet to your computer and then copy them to your MP3 player using the USB cable. For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable to the MP3 player and the computer. You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player will create a MP3 music file for each music track. If your mp3 player shows the walkman, then it means the player is okay. But you need to check the battery if it is fully charged before you turn it on. Try to charge it over a while before turning it on, after doing so, turn it on. It will work.
And if it does not work, connect the mp3 to a computer and try to see the files on it. That way you will be able to tell if the files are not corrupted.
You can format the mp3 player using the computer, then try to re add your songs on the mp3 player and turn it on, this time it will work perfectly fine.
It is caused by the music file you are trying to play. Play it on the computer to see if it works, then check the properties see if it meets the nw-e002's spec. If it does, your file maybe corrupted
If it just the one theme that says file corrupt, then you should choose another one or download the theme again.
If all themes say file corrupt when you try and select them, then you should update the software in your handset.

Learn to reset the device using the method shown on your manual. You can also connect it to the computer to scan the files for any corrupt inactive ones and delete them. i think resetting should solve this issue.Helpful ? Good day
I suggest that you copy the Setup.exe file from walkman player to a folder in the computer and then run. If the issue persists, the setup file may be corrupted. Also check the Operating System compatibility.
It would be good if you charge for more than 4 hours to fully charge the battery of the walkman before its first use.
Thanks for understanding. Please let me know if you require any clarifications.
This happens a lot of times when a pc crashes in the middle of something. Sometimes the device that was attached at the time has "corrupt" files after being involved in a pc crash!. You will need to download your software again or go to the manufacturer's website and get the software there.
