Problem for Zenith Z50PX2D 50 in. HDTV Plasma Television
We were watching tv and all of a sudden we heard a
we were watching tv (Zenith Z50PX2D 50inch) and all of a sudden we heard a loud pop sound and then it did it again. Then the picture went black but we still had the sound. This tv is about 2 1/2 years old. We bought it at Circut City. When we called Zenith, they said basically to bad, out of warrenty. I took it to a tv repair man and he said there is a lawsuit against this tv or something. Any information on this or where to go as we paid $3500. and traveled 250 miles just to get this lemon.

I had the same problem. We replaced the Y Sustain board. It was under $200 and not at all hard to do yourself. Remove the back of the tv. Make sure you watch what screw goes where. You will see the board on the left side. The number should be on the bottom right corner of the board. Just watch how you removed the board making small notes as to what goes where. Its really not that hard and you can save 600$ or more
