This problem is caused by the set turner card and the solution is to change it .may be some chips are overheating or have leakage . Try adding a fan on top of the microprocessor of this card .
Warranty time. The TV most likely went into protection mode because a part went bad inside.
I would take it back to the store and exchange it for a new one. 90 day warranty policy.
Have them test the new one to make sure it works so you don't have to waste another trip.

This generally indicates an issue with the backlight inverter loading the power supply. The inverter assembly is easily replaced in this panel and costs approx. $90-140 depending on your parts store. Please use caution when working with this component, it produces the very high voltages required to illuminate the screen.
