Hp2133 screen problem

if you hurry you can order one off ebay its a olevia but they use the same screen 220724844497 which is an lg philips panel. Before doing that check if your backlight inverter is defective. A more common problem with this tv is blue screen from tcon board failure which is quite easy to fix.

Sorry it junk,sell it on Ebay.com for parts or save it for parts for the new purcharse tv with the same model.U can try Shopjimmy.com for some tv 32"LCD screen,but don't if they have Philip LCD or LCD work with Philip LCD tv models.But basicly LCD broken in 40 and up is not possible to get LCD screen.Tv compannies sell LCD Screen out the same as a new tv price or well exceed the price after part and labors.

The screen will probably have to be replaced. Try gently squeezing around the edge of the lcd where the line is present. Sometimes this will get it going temporarily. I have even used close pins before to keep pressure on it to keep it on. A new screen can be ordered on ebay for around $100 and are fairly easy to replace. I recommend getting the exact part number on the back of the LCD before ordering.

Go on ebay and buy a new inverter for less than $10. Go on youtube to see how to replace the dell inspiron 1526 lcd inverter or the dell inspiron 1526 lcd screen. I put the lcd screen on because sometimes the problem might be your screen. If things don't work after installing the new inverter board, then buy a new lcd screen off ebay. The inverter board and screen are easy to install. Just go on youtube.com to find a video that walks you through it. The inverter sits at the bottom of the lcd screen. Some are screwed on, some are welded onto the screen, some are held by a small piece of tape. Even if you have to pry the old one off, just put the new on on held by a small piece of tape.

More than likely you will need to replace the LCD screen. The backlight may have burned out making it blank or it the LCD connector may have come loose.

A new LCD screen runs about 15 dollars shipped from ebay.

The W580i LCD is easy, easy to replace. Probably one of the easiest I have ever done.

A pinkish tint is indication that the backlight tube inside the screen is not fully lit. But then it goes black - meaning the tube shut down? That part don't make much sense - it's certainly possible, though.

Replacing tubes is pretty surgical so I wouldn't recommend it. Replacing the screen should be pretty darn easy. A good, used screen should be pretty cheap on eBay, so that's where I'd start.
