You will have to take the outer casing off to get to the carburetor. Disassemble the carb. and spray with carb. cleaner. Use a Den Tek Brush,
(http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp?pid=165357&catid=1152), to clean the small portals in carb. Make sure the small screen is free of debris. Reassemble and start.

Leaf blower craftsman manual

Is it getting gas? Have you tried a spray of Starter Fluid in the Carburetor? to see if it will start on that?
10% Ethanol Gas is a carburetor killer. If the engine hasn't been run in few months, chances are the Ethanol caused problems in the Carb.
Write your congressman and tell then to stop the Bill that has us using this do-nothing Ethanol gas .

hi. get a can of starter fluid and a helper. remove the air filter. have your helper spray a little fluid into the air cleaner and then start it up... keep spraying enough fluid to keep it running for at least two minutes to clean the engine of any crud. Joe

Blower stalls

Sounds to me you might be sucking air into the fuel line that's in the fuel tank...

I'd drain the tank, remove the fuel line and check it for hole...
