I have the same problem and I think we need the original remote control. I've tried with ani universal and doesn't work. Do you have the original remote?

samsung 47 inch red color is not aligned tried focus no help the red is a double image about 1 inch out of alignment

I have the same problem, and I have the remote. I have tried Perfect Focus, no help. I've tried the mute-1-8-3 function - the grid lines line up on the first 3 inches of the screen and then don't after that. I'm not really sure what to do when I get to that screen. Is this something I should be able to fix myself, if so, how do I do it? Or should I call a repair person? Thanks.

Timing chain replacement images for 2002 trailblazer 4.2l

Below are some pictures for you. This is not the easiest chain to replace. Things like the water pump, power steering pump, oil pan all have to be removed. Also I have had to manually rotate one of the camshafts and hold to line up the marks. Not in all cases but it has happened. You really need to make sure you are at top dead center (TDC) when putting back together. If you want feel free to email me at csautomotivecars@att.net with all your information and I will be happy to make you up a PDF with detailed step by step instructions with pictures. There would not be a cost to you for this. I don't mind helping. It can be quite detailed and you don't want to be off even a tooth which is why I did mention maybe having to rotate a camshaft. Also when buying the timing chain be sure to get a quality chain. The cheap ones don't have colors or marks on them and not only are you lining up your timing marks as far as the crank and camshaft sprockets but there are also chain links with colors on them that need to match up to your marks as well. This helps in making sure everything is lined up correctly. Hope this helps.......

Screen went to red and green lines during operation

If it is a continues problem try resetting the motherboard by pulling out the ram cards and clock battery if it doesn't do it again then the problem was probably just interference from an outside source and it probably will not happen again if the problem persists check the color card and if it is a built in color card try getting any PCI color card and check it, if the display is correct then all you need is a new color card. If it has only done it once i would not worry much about it.

Screen looks 3D Colors don't line up One or more colors can't be adjusted when using the convergence menu. Screen is bowed or warped.

The convergence Ics have blown and need replacement. The pico fuses on the D board and G board will also need to be checked and replaced with the ICs. The Sony Type 1 convergence repair kit from www.tvrepairworld.com is the correct kit for your model which includes the components and the CD with repair instructions.

We just bought a Hitachi 65S500 tv secondhand. When trying to correct the convergence, the magic focus green color does not align the letters correctly in the horizontal position. When we try to correct...

Projection TV sets have two very common problems. One is convergence ( 3D/Warped video) the other is CRT fluid ( Dull Video). Here are more details and solutions for both. Repair kits with instructions are also avail from www.TvRepairKits.com

Common Problem #1) Convergence has gone out

Projection TV sets need to have all three colors - RED - BLUE - GREEN - lined up correctly on the screen in order for the video to look normal. When its out of alignment the video will look 3D, wavy, distorted, etc. Most of the time you just need to adjust your convergence in the TV menu. If you cannot adjust it in the menu - then your convergence is broken and needs to be repaired.

This is a very common failure on these projection sets and a fairly simple DIY fix. All projection sets including Samsung, RCA, Sony, Philip Magnavox, Panasonic, Pioneer, Akai, GE, JVC, Toshiba, and others at some point will have the same problem.

Common Symptoms include....

  • Screen looks 3D
  • Colors don't line up
  • One or more colors can't be adjusted when using the convergence menu.
  • Screen is bowed or warped.
  • TV shuts off after powering on. Power light will blink. TV may also make a chirping noise.
Here are some pics of convergence problems.

Common Problem #2) CRT Fluid is Cloudy

Projection TV tubes have a liquid coolant that is used to keep them from overheating. After many years the coolant in the blue and green tubes will become cloudy and cause the screen to look dull, red/orange, etc. You may even see halos around images.

The image is good but the colors aren't lining up. Mainly the blue is off to the right.

It has to be re calibrated, somehow that color lamp is not aimed correctly. It is a total nuisance to get them aligned properly but it can be done. Its been a long time since I've had to deal with thoes TVs so I do not concider myself an expert on calibrating them.

Hope this helps!

Thanks,

Getting lines to line up

Hi, if the green isn't straight to begin with you will need to go into the convergence sub menu and align it there code is 062597 status then follow the instructions to adjust the green first, then red , then blue multipoint and save it.
pressing menu to switch arrows to move/adjust status to back up , make sure to scroll down to save multipoint before exiting, power off when done.
If any color will not move or is more than 1 inch out of adjustment you may need to check the resistors to that convergence color .
hope this helps
Eric

This means that the problem is with the toner drum. Just try to clean the drum of the toner with cotton. It is green colored rod in the toner. then try to take the print. If still you get the line while printing please either replace the toner or get the drum replaced from a local vendor

Skewed printing

Most probably you have to do the Color Registration Settings and the Color Calibration.
The Color Registration will fix the fuzzy printing and the Color Calibration the way how the colors looks. The Color Calibration it is done automatically after each batch of 40 or 80 pages and if you need you can do a manual Color Calibration BUT THE COLOR REGISTRATION must be done manually.

Go to Menu->Others->Service->Color Registration and print a test chart. Will print a page and you have to read the alignment of some lines Cyan Magenta Yellow Black with some numbers. Check the Advanced user guide for details. Basically you have to read the number / letters of each color where 2 lines are matching. Then you can enter those numbers into the printer for each color.

If the Cyan only is off then will be easy ...
