The CS6719-16 isn't an answering machine. It will ring until someone answers, some other answering machine picks up, or the caller hangs up.

If you want to change the number of rings before an answering machine picks up, please reply to this post and specify the answering machine.

Read your manual on how to choose more rings before your answering machine picks up...usually 7 is the most you can set it for.
