My Zanussi ZWF 1221 W will not rinse. Any ideas?

My Zanussi ZWF 1221 W will not rinse. It will perform all other functions, but whenever the rinse period of any wash cycle occurs, the machine drains as expected, remains dormant for the period it would take to perform a rinse cycle, then spins and completes the selected programme as normal.
