The motor of the door seems to work but the door remains closed.

Did you check the cables including the power? Maybe some wires are overlapping causing interference/maybe some wire got damaged. Check also the outlet you are using (try another outlet).

The motor is last thing to gone before you go to service check the rubber belt which connect the motor to the door gears.Your set is 20 years old and this should be the problem and easy to fix

the disc isnt being read. the laser lens may be dirty or the laser power cct may be faulty. check tr6108 and c2103 located on the servo board beneath the mech.(bc338/33uf16v).

You might be able to get one from online parts shop CPC, they stock B & O parts. You can worry about if you can fit it when you've got one!

no,motor drive on timeout.usual cause friction between door and guide rails,only way to check is to remove doors and clean/lube door guide pins.this is not an easy job,very fiddly as involves detaching doors from cord drives.you may also have low motor cct supply voltage.
