my advent will not start up without going straight to bios

reinstall by booting from cd ...be sure ya have all drivers ...enter in bios by pressing del during the boot....select to boot from cd ...and save by F10 and ok
after installing be sure that you re enter the boot order...not that its an issue ....but there is the possibility that ya may boot an operating system from mistake if ya have the disk inserted...and lose data ...
ya can also try partition magic...or any similar programs...but it will work only for the partitions that doesn't contain windows...( or operating system )
