Unable to tether my GR500 to PC. PC doe...

I currently cant get Att communication manager to recognize the phone is tethered, but i currently have my xp pro sp3 recognize the driver of the lg xenon.

From the main (touch) screen click on the 4 dots (menu)>then the gear (settings)>then select the gear that says "more +"> select connection (should be first option)>select "USB connection"> select "Data Service". NOW you plug in the data cable (dont plug it in before you do this!) and windows should auto pick up the driver for you.

My ONLY problem is getting the ATT communication manager to recognize the phone. it simply says "No wireless device detected". which is garbage because the device manager has no missing drivers and i saw the driver physically installed. anyone else having this problem too???

You'll need to get the LG driver for it in order to tether.

The platform is the Ericsson Mobile U330 Lite.

Apparently Rogers (cell provider in Canada) provides the software CD with their phones, so maybe you can get the driver from someone who has the CD. With the driver you can tether.

Just to verify, make sure the phone is recognized by your PC with the phone's connection in Mass Storage mode (it should show up as a EMP Flash Card 2.0 USB Device). This will verify that your USB cable works for data and not just power.
