I have a 30 yr old gas Wards MicrowaveRange model CG2500B that has finally given up the ghost. It was built by Caloric. GE sold a similar unit during that time period. The oven thermostat has died, max temp now is 200 degrees. I'm looking for a thermostat - pn 66363 or Y0066363(Whirlpool says no longer available nor any suitable substitute.) Baring finding a thermostat I need to find a stove with at least the same capabilities and width.
It is a 30" wide with 4 burners on top and the single oven is self clean, convection and microwave all in one. It would cook a 22 lb turkey in about 2 1/2 hrs time. Does any manufacturer currently make a stove with the same capabilities?
I live near Fairbanks Alaska and have a very limited number of dealers here who are all nay sayers. They have never heard of a stove being built this way.
Thanks

On 11/ 18/09 I ordered a Control Panel for my Kitchen Aid Convection Range Model KERC508LSS that failed. I received the panel today, installed it and everything works fine however ,included in the panel packaging was a inline fuse with a limited instruction sheet. The additional in line fuse was supposed to connect to the L2 Side of a terminal block however there is no terminal block on the electronic control panel. I assume that Whirlpool wants to have this additional fuse installed to protect the electronic control panel, which is expensive to replace, however I am at a loss as to where it should be installed. Any additional information or help that you could provide will be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time 11/20/09 Update, I located the terminal Block at the bottom of the rear of the range in the terminal box, however there are two red wires on L2, one wire appears to be labeled L1 and the other L2. The wire labeled L1 appears to already have an inline fuse. L2 is a brighter color red and has no in line fuse however the gauge of the wire appears to be a little larger than the inline fuse wire that is to be splice in. Again any guidance that you could provide will be appreciated
