Each bathtub has at least one air control on the tub that when opened lets air into the jets that produce the bubbles.
If you are experiencing too much pressure out of each jet, some of the jets if they are adjustable you can turn them down by rotating them left or right.
The other issue may be the water depth in the tub before you are turning it on. Make sure the water level is at least two inches or more above the highest jet.

SOURCE: Cold air blowing into Maax Velvet 6032 Bubble Tub

The air coming from the blower will be cool, but should not be cold. Turn on the blower or bubbler feature (no water necessary) and go to the access panel ( as specified by install instructions), reach in and feel the tube connected to the blower, the tube should be warm, if not the heater coil is not working and the blower assembly needs to be replaced.

SOURCE: Maax bathtub Palace model Error code C01 jets don't turn on.

first of all check the circuit breakers to be sure one or both aren't kicked. be sure to turn the breaker all the way off and then fully on as a tripped breaker is in a halfway off position. if that doesnt fix your problem remove the access panel to the mechanical space in your tub. there are generally one or two reset buttons in there which can also kick off and need to be reset.

SOURCE: air movment from only one air jet.

The jets are ajustable, by turning the center or outer ring of the jet to the left or right you will open or close the pressure to the jet. I hope this helps.

My Maax 461 Spa Heater heats constant until overheat and trips out until manually reset. If jets not turned on, the heater will overheat and trip. Acts like contacts stuck?

Question edited for clarity, 'till' refers to turning over soil, 'tilling', 'until' is the word you need.

That sounds like a thermostat problem. The heater should only be on when water is circulating, even if it is just in the standby mode before the high pressure jets are turned on.

Contact your installer or one of the parts suppliers in the link. It is unlikely to need a new mainboard.

Purge line

The breaker the manual is referring to will be the main circuit breaker at the panel.
If the system is not running the purge cycle as it is supposed to and turning the power on and off does not reset the control box then it is likely that the control box has a bad part in the circuity and should be replaced.

Maax tub

Some air jet bubbler blowers are designed to run for 5 to 10 minutes after you drain the tub to push all of the water out of the air channels. It should shut off on its own once it senses all of the water has been blown out. If it continues to run much longer than that, then contact the mfg for a service call. You have a warranty if it is a recent purchase that should cover it. Hope this helps!

The pump surges where's the impeller

if your pump is surging then you do not have enough water in the bathtub or you have a jet that is blowing air into the suction fitting. this happens a lot when a jet faces the suction and the air control is wide open. the suction pulls in too much air and causes the pump cavitation (surging). Try pointing the jet opposite the suction cover upwards and see if that doesn't solve the problem.

I have a jet that is tipped way down and not good pressure. Can I just manually adjust the direction? How do I adjust the pressure? I am worried as this is the first jetted tub we have owned and I don't...

Yes you should be able to adjust the eyeball. Simply grab it with your fingers and move it where you want it to be. Some jet trim are adjustable from the outside face of the jet. take a hold of the outside of the trim and turn it both directions until you feel more water pressure come out. this means the jet is open.
