Question about Dell Dimension 5100 (D51L1) PC Desktop
I have a Dell Dimension 9100, and the motherboard has 10 pin header for the
optional floppy drive. I am trying to install a Dynex Internal All-in-One
Card Reader, which has a USB 5 (1x5) pin cable. I was wondering if there
was a some kind a adapter or a "coupler" for the 5 pin to work w/ 10 pin
header, or is there other connectors i could work with...I would greatly
appreciate it if you could get back to me w/ a solution, thanks...
I'm not sure where the floppy drive comes in, but if you have usb connectors on your mobo then you can connect the 5 pin connector to half of the usb pins. Try that and see what happens.
