Question about Kodak Cameras
I forgot to change the date on my easyshare digital camera 310 before pictures were taken and now it is vital i get the right date on the pictures I print out. I keep changing the date any place I can and it always goes back to a different date even 2001 on the prints. Help please. Please email me at email@example.com with a solution. Thank you. The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

It seems you need to select "postcard" mode to imprint the date automatically. See page 37 of the advanced manual. You can download the manual from the link below: http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&tabact=DownloadDetailTabAct&fcategoryid=323&modelid=12956 Please update the question & let us know if the information given was useful to you - Good Luck!

SOURCE: Print Picture with date
I don't believe that the XTi will let you have the date on the picture.
Easiest solution I can think of is to download some free software like Paint.net and use the text tool to add it in the corner before printing.
If you have forgotten the date or time, and you're using windows (not sure how to do this on a mac) right click on the image, go to properties, click the summary tab, and then click Advanced. That will give you something called the EXIF data, or all the info about the picture (camera model, shutter speed, etc). Near the bottom should be the date and time.

SOURCE: Can't change date on camera
I had the very same problem. Well as for the date changing you want to press the MENU button and press the right > arrow button which will then take you to SETUP and you will see DATE/TIME you then press ok (blue button) and you set the date and time whatever it may be.
And finally, to remove the date of of the pictures press MENU and then press the ^ (up) button and you'll see a choice called "DATE IMPRINT" and then press ok and choose the option OFF and the date will disappear.

Does the lens extend fully from the camera before it turns off or does is stay retracted? Has this been dropped or gotten wet recently? Try removing the SD memory card from the camera and powering it up to see if you still get the "format" prompt.

You need to configure the option of printer for stamp Date/Time.
OTher way is to manually stamp Date/time on individual image by using Software that came with Camera
