Cannot connect to my Netgear WRG614 v6 Router. My Dell laptop shows an excellent connection but it says limited or no conectivity? I have tried several suggestions and reseting several times...nothing works. Should I just buy another router?

I'm still not able to get my laptop to connect? If I click on the test button on the router log in page, it loads the web page saying that I have a internet connection???
Can you connect before? Try this, from your previous post and to its answer. I will just deviate the last sentence. Try to set static IP, do not set it to auto. You could set your static IP as 192.168.0.25, please consult your manual about this. Just use the 25 in the Ip's end. Then subnet could be 255.255.255.0. then the default gateway of your router. Then for the meantime don't set any security to your router, wep, wap or whatever it is. And don't forget to key in your ISP's DNS. Then try to connect.
If you are using LAN cable from your ISP. Try to connect it to your Computer LAN port directly or how you connect directly your internet connection from your computer without the router. Then on your system tray try to look the internet icon activity usually a two monitor icon. Right click on there. Then select status, then support, then details, from there see the DNS number you may get two DNS numbers set then put that manually to your wireless lan settings.

- That is when you put the router back in line. Put that in manually. Then connect to your router again. Then browse again to internet.
Hope it works. I experience that also, that is why my network is configured manually now.

- Its 192.168.1.25 you forget to add the 1. And if your ISP doesn't required MAC registration in their system default MAC address is just fine. Or you clone the LAN MAC address.
Here's your manual.

i have 3laptops and a PC that all connect wirelessly toTP-LINK 108M as my kids wrecked the supplied wireless router supplied by virgin (sleepovers, fizzy drinks and computers are a bad combination!) at home but cant connect to my virgin cable 20mb, i needed to boost the signal anyway. its connected to the virgin modem which works on wired connection laptop, the disc supplied by virgin is lost and out of date anyway (Vista 32, Xp pro and xp home) is there some magical download that i can burn and shove into each computer that will sort all this out. I'm an old fool and just mess things up more when trying to do this myself
