Will it burn up the ceiling fan if no windows are open?

The fan motor is burned out ...Its just as easy to buy a whole new ceiling fan as it is to replace the motor.

I put my ceeling fan up today but I have just noticed the motor is reslly hot ,,,, HELPPPPP

model number is on top of motor facing ceiling

There are several portions for a ceiling fan... it sounds as if the small motor that actually turns the blades shorted / or burned out.

call 1-800-295-4448 they will send you one.

The fan motor is burning out. It must be replaced.

Usually the capacitor has burned out, and needs to be replaced.
Try going online looking at the manufacturers site and inquiring.

I think you have already figured out what the problem most likely is; 60 watt bulbs. Down-size the wattage or install 'energy saver' bulbs if they will fit the application. Instead of counting on these units for extra lighting, perhaps think about Track lighting to fill in those ares that need more but subtle light.

I would suggest getting an electrician to check the current running through the wiring. I had installed a similar fan in my grandmother's house a couple of years ago and had the same problem. After a couple of months of constantly changing bulbs, I brought in an electrician to check the current and found that there was a short in the wire which kept causing just enough of a current surge to blow the bulbs.
