Tried turning on the tv and a high pitched sound started non stop, tv would not even light up, Only stopped with unplugged, attempted to plug it back in and the plug sparked.

The TV has burned out.......Don't switch it back on again unless you want to get electrocuted, or burn your house down

i have a l32wd22 rca -----went out -- the plug from the power cord to the power supply [ a two prong jack on the side of power supply was loose]
i bent the pins slightly then plug it back in and also taped it in place---now it works fine

I think I would turn it off and unplug it. You could get an estimate on reparing the power supply cord or whatever the problem is or the TV maybe ready for replacement.

I have a RCA Entertainment Series 32' Model Number F32650Y01E024C226E just stopped working. no picture, just a chirping loud noise that came from the back of the tv.

TV just shut off one day...

This sounds like a PSU fault. Since ther is no way to determine your expertise then the best solution is to call an engineer.
