Question about LG WM2688HWM TROMM SteamWasher
An area rug was washed. The rubber backing came loose and is clogging the water outlet. We cleaned the tub drained water from the small hose near the filter(it drained very slowly only when keeping the line clear by blowing into it) and emptied the filter. On the second try the water filled (and continued to fill halfway up the window until we shut water off) We ran the wash cycle for a short time and drained water from the drum over night. The filter had nothing in it but on close observation with a flashlight under the stainless drum there is about 1/2" to 1 "of residue under the drum. How can this be cleaned out. We also called for a certified service tech but were told it would take 2 weeks to get one out to us. Not a very good response considering we live in a major city.
