- My memory card gave me a format error. I reformatted the memory card, was able to take a day at the zoo of photos but now I cannot retrieve them and the camera stores no more images. No error messages, just no images. - jshepard15Jul 08, 2008

Try to format the memory card. do the ff:
-turn camera on
-set camera in program mode using mode dial
-click on menu button
-select options using left/right, up/down button
-select Set up 2
-Select FORMAT
-Select YES
-the word PROCESSING will appear
-wait for process to be completed.

- but be careful, when you format the memory card, all files will be permanently deleted. so have back up copies of files before formatting memory card.Yes
