No sound from X-540 speakers

My speakers have always worked flawlessly, then I moved my PC to another location and hooked everything back up and now I have absolutely no sound out of my speakers. I know everything is hooked up right, nothing is muted etc etc, and I've been trying to find drivers but apparently there are no drivers for the speakers, just for motherboards or sound cards. Well I looked up the ASUS P5000/ESU motherboard drivers for audio and had them installed, but they still don't seem to work.
