Can't download the pictures from my Sony Cybershot camera

Hi! Need help with my Sony Cybershot digicam. I can't download the pictures to my desktop and laptop. I tried removing the memory card and inserted it in a card-reader but to no avail. What could be wrong with it? Do you know Sony Cybershot's service center in Manila?

maybe you inserted the memory card improperly? this happened to me too.
