New switch for the passenger side. The drivers side switch may be wired through the passengers side switch witch will make it not work if the passengers side switch is bad. Just a thought. Hope this helps.
Need to get a wiring diagram. Buy a book and follow the wiring schematic. It should help you out majorly. Can't really work on electrical issues without one.
Disable the window lock switch. Unless you can't roll them down from the driver's switch either: in that case you're probably dealing with a faulty master control switch in the driver's door - all the other switches for the windows and locks go through it.
just recently had the same problem...i read that if you hold ur window button down for 5 seconds it should reset the windows..also check if your window lock button is down(drivers side) same goes for the sun roof.
This problem is very likely caused by the drivers side power window switch being defective, I have seen this very same problem in the shop more than once and the new master switch fixed it. here is the part number and price from www.Rockauto.com
AIRTEX Part # 1S3874-Left front Power Window Switch. Price $105.79
if you have to you can remove the door panel and unplug the switch. take two wires and connect one to positive and one to negative. one wire to one side of plug and the other wire to the other side of plug. make sure you are connected to the window motor side of the wires, and not the switch side. when doing this one way will roll the window down and you can reverse the wires opposite of the way you just used and it will move the window in the other direction. if the window doesnt move it means the motor is bad. if it does move it means that the switch is bad.
no engine functions windows wont role down and gauges wont work
