Blue lines down the length of the page are so noticable that the page cannot be used. Is there a setting in the menu to address this?

Did you re-fill the black toner cartridge with genuine Ricoh toner or from somewhere else? It might be the wrong granularity.

If the lines are blue, check the color PCU.

Try replacing color toner of the same color that are the lines. If the void was in the same place all of the time then I would say use a Q tip dipped in 90 proof alcohol and clean laser.

Horizontal line running through the middle tv screen, no picture but has sound. TV is a Toshiba.

You haven't vertical deflection.
The ff caused the problem.
1. Dry joints on the vetical section.
2. Blew Vertical ouput IC
3. Open yoke vetical winding.
4. No vertical output from jungle IC.
5. Open supply for vetical ic due to open fusible resistor.

I've suspect that you have #1 and #2 fault. This is not Diy so I've advice you to send to repair shop or look for a qualified tech to isolate the problem.

Thanks for using fixya.

Vertical line printed length of page

I had this problem. It is normally one of the drums. Pull out each drum and clean and look the the bottom. If you see a scratch going all the way around the drum you have located the problem. Replace the drum.

Hi there,

I believe there are 3 possible causes for this issue; toner drum, fuser or transfer roller - more than likely I would dismantle the printer and check for lines on the fuser. But just in case remove the toner and carefully release the flap to reveal the toner drum - if that is scored and the lines correspond to those on the print-out thats the cause.

VERTICAL PRINT LINES

Check the front paper exit rollers for fit and alignment also the paper deck guides close to the planten area, if the printer is dropping print vertically down one side of the page, this can be caused by debris or anything that lifts the caridge assy the slightest bit, also check the print head seating and ribbin cable for proper alignment
