Question about Dishwashers
I think you need to get a new knob, write down the model number and make and take the pieces to your local domestic appliance supplier, there might be something similar in stock. Now I do mean the kind of small supplier that understands this kind of fault, not your local Walmart etc.!
You'll need to remove what it left of the old knob off the spindle.
The new knob will just push straight on.
