Disconnect Spa from electricity. Remove access panel, remove Spa Pack controller cover, check all fuses. If bad, replace.., If good, replace controller cover and adjust pressure switch which located on the heater tube assembly.
If the heater or pump does not come on you may need to adjust one of these types of pressure switches counter-clock wise to turn on. If the heater or pump is staying on these may need to be adjusted clockwise.
Switch Type One:
There is a slot on the top portion of this switch for a flat head screwdriver, turning this counter clockwise (backing the threads out) will reduce the amount of pressure needed to turn on. Turning this clockwise will increase the amount of pressure needed to turn on. Never turn clock wise all the way in as this may cause damage to the switch.
Switch Type Two:
This Type of switch has a black star wheel to adjust, turning this counter clockwise (backing the threads out) will reduce the amount of pressure needed to turn on. Turning this clockwise will increase the amount of pressure needed to turn on. Never turn clock wise all the way in as this may cause damage to the switch.
Switch Type Three:
This Type of switch has a black star wheel to adjust, turning this counter clockwise (backing the threads out) will reduce the amount of pressure needed to turn on. Turning this clockwise will increase the amount of pressure needed to turn on. Never turn clock wise all the way in as this may cause damage to the switch.
If the above does not help, check for continuity between the two connections on the pressure switch. If there is NO continuity with the switch in either position, then replace the pressure switch. If there is continuity in either position then the pressure switch is good.
If the pressure switch is good, test for voltage at the two lugs of the heater element. If there is voltage, then replace your heater element or the entire assembly. If no voltage is present, it could be your Spa Side controller keypad or your Spa Pack (main computer board).
Please ensure that your spa controls are set up correctly PRIOR to any troubleshooting.
