BIOS on a Fujitsu C-Series LifeBook b> Resetting the BIOS system of a computer can help revitalize the computer's usage. Oftentimes computers are "broken" when they are misconfigured in the BIOS menu of the computer before it boots up. When the settings are improperly selected, the BIOS prevents the computer from working properly. To get the computer back up and running again, the BIOS needs to be reset. The Fujitsu LifeBook C2111 has its BIOS system located on the motherboard beneath the keyboard.
Turn the Fujitsu laptop over with the computer powered off. Remove the AC adapter and push the battery release latch in and pull the laptop battery out of the Fujitsu. Remove the screw holding the hard drive in place and slide the cover off of the laptop. Remove the two screws underneath the cover that holds the hard drive onto its bracket. Place the BIOS battery back into the motherboard and reattach the keyboard. Tighten the keyboard screw that you removed earlier, and turn the Fujitsu back over and reattach the hard drive along with the covers for the hard drive and RAM. Push the computer battery back into place and attach the power cable to the computer. Turn the Fujitsu back on and the BIOS menu will be reset.
