I have a 2004 Bosch Nexxt clothes dryer which squeaks during operation. The noise seems to be coming from the drum. This is a model WTMC 3300US. Any suggestions?
I have the same problem and it's very loud at times! The repair company has been out 4 times so the service man called Bosch. He was told to replace the motor in the lower front right of the dryer. Bosch also told him they have had several complaints about the nose. It would have been nice if Bosch had at the very least informed their service companies of the problem!

Squeaks loudly when dryer heats up. Technician replaced rear bearing assembly and it did not help.

The repair technician dis-assembled and examined our Nexxt dryer and, even after hearing the noise, said there was not a problem. He said that replacing the felt drum liner may solve the problem. However, the slipping fan assembly does sound more plausible. I am going to call Bosch and discuss this with them, though, based on my past experience with Bosch, I do not expect them to be too helpful.

There is a fan in the dryer that has a tendancy to crack around the shaft. The symptom would be, you start the dryer and it sounds fine. Then after about 5-10 minutes it starts squeaking. This is because when the dryer gets hot, fan starts slipping on the shaft. This will require a new fan blade assemby.
