Problem for Panasonic DMR-ES25 DVD Recorder
Can't remove SD card from DMR ES25 dvd recorder

Have a Panasonic DMR ES25 dvd recorder/player.
The display flashes SD and manual says first step is to remove and re-install the DS card.
According to manual removal is conducted by pushing in at the center of the card and then removing the card.
Problem is the ES25 will not release the SD card. Card does not move when I push it in.
Any thoughts/answers guys?
