I have had this microwave for about 9 onths and it was working fine until a few days ago. My husband was cooking oatmeal and it shut off. when I plugged it into a different outlet in my house, still nothing. There is no way to manually reset it and I dont have any idea whats wrong with it.

Start by replacing the power supply fuse. Can be found in the area of the control panel. Use a 15 or 20 amp fuse, most appliance parts stores carry them.If it goes again, then you should have it looked at by a professional.
