Question about CyberLink PowerProducer 2 for PC

Video file not readable today, but was yesterday

I have PowerProducer 3 and I burned my first batch of DVD's (my daughter's preschool musical) and they are great.  I was asked for more, so I tried to burn more and now the file is unreadable.  I re-did the work, burned more, but the DVD's won't play.

The message is that they are not video files.  I cannot open them in either PP or PowerDirector.

The extensions are .ppp  Not sure what to do!

I did that, but it didn't work.  I went into the temp files that are created in my works, and re-loaded power-director.  I then saved it (again) with a different name, and it worked.  I burned my dvd's and I guess it's done.  I am not sure why it didn't work before.

    Thanks for your help.

Give this a try
Make a copy of the file and rename the .ppp to a standard ".extention" for the file.

Yes, sometimes file renaming that way works.

I don't understand why, it just works!

    Glad you got it fixed.

I once had several '.gif'' picture files that had some black pixels that were supposed to be white.

(the white parts of the pictures were speckeled with black)

I opened the gif files in MS Paint, then re-saved the files, the black speckels disappered.
