SOURCE: HARMONY 550 UNIVERSAL REMOTE

As far as I know you cannot, you will need it to be in the devices list online, or find somebody with the remote to program it.
You should also be able to get the company.. Yamaha to send you the codes or send them directly to Logitech to get them added to the database.

I have a Yamaha RX-V1200 receiver (6.1).

I would get it assessed to see if the unit is worth repairing. There are Ic's and stand alone transistors that could add up when it comes to repairs.

Lost my power cord for my receiver, where can i get a new one

Hello
This is the picture of the power cord you have to buy. It can be bought either form the authorised service ceter for Yamaha or from any local electronic sparepart selling shops at your town. OK.

How to connect a yamaha rx-v1200 receiver to a yamaha EQ70 graphic equalizer

The EQ (ore any similar analog processor) would customarily be connected as if it was a tape deck.

Kepp this in mind: Ins always go to Outs.

If you have the manual, Page 17 shows the analog connections for a CD Recorder going to/from the MD/Tape In and Out jacks. You could also use the CD-R, VCR-1 or VCR-2 jacks.

Attach any actual analog recorders to the corresponding jacks on the EQ using the same In-to-Out pattern.

Yamaha rx-v1200 volume control

if you are not really that technical type that can make repairs then it will be very hard for you to replace it yourself. not hard to find the volume control, it is mounted on a board. you dismantle the board first then remove desolder the volume control. it think you can onyl get the parts from yamaha service.

Volume knob quirks

if you know how to repair, then replace the volume control switch. it is a digital type/mechanical type of switch with silicone oil on it to prevent sudden turn of volume. if i were the repairman i can simply clean the contacts of the volume control and pour silicon oil again. but i really dont know in your area if they try to clean those.

just connect your subwoofer mono RCA to your amp sub single out rca connector. you do not need to megre all those 4terminals into one. in fact internal circuit of those 4rca are merging inside to one since the sub uses only a single amp. 4inputs was meant for sources with multiple sub out
