YOU WILL HAVE TO FORMAT THE NEW CARD AND RESET YOUR CAMERA TO FACTORY SETTINGS.
If you BING the m517 it will give you all the specs. you need.
If you go to hp.com on the first page look for trouble shooting a product. Type in you m517 and you will get all the required info.
