Time for a replacement, CRT monitors are not in the realm of repair, just replacing. You could get a good deal on a used one as these monitors are becoming obselete!

Some times crt is not ON .corner green LED is ON and OFF.

The LED is cutting off because there is some short in the circuit, It can be a possible fault in the HT circuit a fault in the driver or the line output transformer.
You will need to check on the circuit after removing the rear panel , check the main power, disconnect power to the circuit to confirm the short.

Even if i switch on my computer with moniter it doesnt show anything on moniter screen it remains black

Hello. With the computer and monitor OFF, disconnect the signal cable from the video card on your system. Next, turn on the monitor. There should be a bright green box with a pink outline of a video connector inside showing. If there isn't, and the monitor is definitely powered up, then there is an internal problem. If there IS a little green box, etc., the video card in your system is suspect.
  • 1) When turning on the monitor, do you hear the sound of the high voltage initiating?(i.e. you should hear some type of electronic noise like a vibration or crackling of static on the picture tube)
  • 2) If you do hear that high voltage kicking in, it may very well mean that the picture tube is dead and getting a replacement monitor is in your future.
  • 3) If you don't hear the high voltage, quite possibly the transformer that produces it(called a flyback transformer) is defective.
Due to the vast array of inexpensive monitors available, you probably should consider getting a new unit--the cost of a new display will rival the cost of the repair--and you get a fresh warranty to boot. If the picture tube is gone, there's no choice.---Rick

793S 17" CRT Monitor Problem

Have X2gen LCD Monitor with the same type of problem.

Take apart the LCD screen and reseat all ribbon cables. Make sure they are connecting right. I found a black wire on one ribbon cable that was not seated in the connector correctly.
RESEAT ALL CONNECTORS carefully to avoid breakage.

Look for discoloration on all connectors to see if they was an overvoltage to a short causing the screen problems. If you see discoloration you know you have the connector they cause your screen problem.
