Problem for Adobe InDesign CS2
I can not print a 40 page layout from InDesign

I can not print a 40 page layout from InDesign CS2. I can print ads that I have created in InDesign CS2 but not a layout. The printer starts to process and then goes back to ready mode. I can create a pdf and then send to print, but that takes more time.
I contacted HP about their HP Color Laserjet 4700n which is a newer printer thinking that was problem. The files will still not print.
HELP! My boss wants the problem corrected ASAP.
