Question about Memorex iWake MI4004 Clock Radio

2 Answers

No sound When I attach my Ipod nano, I don't get any sound. I can hear a slight buzz in the background, but it doesn't play any songs. I've gone through the troubleshooting in the manuel, checked to be sure it was in Ipod mode and that both the volumes were turned up, and still nothing. It has worked in the past. Any thoughts? M

No thats not it , i have the same problem and both the ipod and iwake are fine.. even when i try to use the radio th one iwake, no sound comes out still.. so i thought the problem lies within the speaker, but even when i plug earphones into the iwake, no sound comes out of them, whether it be on ipod or radio..

Check to see if the male end on the iwake or the female end on the nano are damaged, it sounds like a bad connection.

My ipod nano keeps playing the same song over and over, even on shuffle.

The shuffle setting is essentially random, which does _not_ mean that you won't hear the same song again until all other songs play. You might even hear the same song twice in a row, I suppose.

Are you hearing the same group of songs, and your other songs _never_ play?

If you scroll manually to a song that you haven't heard, and start play from there, does it revert to that same group songs, or play on to others?

All else failing, have you tried to restore your iPod?

Have you tried changing the playback settings in your iTunes preferences? You should be able to adjust the setting to make it _less_ likely for songs to repeat. I don't know how that would transfer to the iPod..

Hope this message can be fix to your ipod nano.

My baby locked my Ipod nano

Here's a really simple way to unlock it:

Hold in the center key and the play key for a few seconds. The screen will turn to a black background with a white apple. It will cycle and start up normally.

Don't worry, you won't lose any songs.

Thanks for the heads up! I'll keep my baby away from mine. (He's 6mos now but I can easily see him doing that!)

Good luck and if i've helped you please give me a good rating!

Respectfully,

Don

IPOD NANO SONGS ARENT WORKING!!!

Test the songs that are not playing on the iPod in iTunes and see if the original file is still playable on iTunes if the song still plays re-sync your iPod could be when iTunes copied the song it must have failed or timed out, if that fails re-syncing try restoring you iPod Nano i have had this problem before and I just re-synced and it worked fine!
