Sani-Plus The Sani-Plus upflush tank turns on after the toilet is flushed but does not turn back off. If I unplug it for about 20 seconds and plug it back in it stays off until I flush again, when it does the same thing again.

My upflush toilet will not shut off after I flush it.how do I fix this.

Your rubber flush valve has likely deteriorated and does not seal the tank anymore, allowing water to escape. This is an easy fix, depending on the model of you tank.

Shut off water to the tank. Open tank and remove flush valve. See picture for what you need to remove.
Go to your local hardware store and get a replacement.

When I flush the water goes down but does not take the paper with it... Help!!! Called sani plus company and they don't know!!!

If the paper isn't flushing, that means it's got too much drag to be carried down with the water. You've got a few options here:

1) Use lower ply paper, as it will be easier to flush
2) Use less paper, or flush after each wipe
3) Improve your toilet to a high rate-of-flow toilet

Do upflush toilets require the use of thin toilet paper?

You may consider using a toilet paper approved for RV's/ Recreational Vehicles as these toilet papers break down easier and have less of a chance to clog the drain.

Install flush valve

Drain the tank (turn off the water supply and hold the flush valve open with your hand).

Remove the old flush valve. Replace it with a new one. Turn the water supply back on.

My Sani-compact toilet flushes on its own periodically. Why is this happening?

The seal at the bottom of the tank is leaking. Usually the call this a flapper. Take the top off the tank and look directly to the bottom of the tank in the center. Flush the stool and you will see the flapper rise and then fall. You probably need to replace the flapper. To do this just turn the water off to the stool, flush it to get all the water out of the tank, reach your hand in the tank and disconnect the flapper and now you can take it to most hardware stores and get another one.

When flushing toilet, water spins in bowl but does not flush away. Have used plunger to no avail. Any suggestions?

It's either plugged or the tank isn't filling properly.
If it's the tank then the fill valve in the tank needs to be adjusted. There should be a screw to adjust the float ball. Back the screw out until the fill valve starts to run;let the water run until the tank fills to the fill line then turn the screw back in.Try flushing the toilet. If that doesn't work then the toilet is probably plugged.
If it's plugged you may need to rent/borrow a snake to clear the line.
