My intel motherboard d845grg wont boot bios. I tryed somethings like taking the little battery out to see if that would reset my bios but that didnt work. I even tryed switching the jumper around for a little while that didnt work ether. My power box is good cause it powers up everything including the motherboard. The motherboard sends power to everything but my floppy drive seems like it tries to read every half a min when nothings in it. the screen just stays black nothing comes up on my screen. I even disconnected everything & plug everything back in & that didnt work. Pretty Please help me I been trying to figure this out for 2 days now im going on three days. Thank you ill be waiting on a reply.

go to bios mode and reset all setting to their defaults, and then restart. and the prob with usb during boot is still common.
so take care
good luck

try taking your CMOS battery out first, its a small silver circle in your motherboard. just take it out for like 10 seconds and then put it back and that will reset your cmos/bios. if you insist on flashing go to your motherboard manufacturers website and look for the download.
Hi mrm291048, The Intel D845GRG MB supports USB 2.0 & is backwards compatible to USB 1.0 For in-depth description of motherboard wire color & location click on this link & scroll down till you see, "Standard USB Cable Wiring Color Code". http://www.usbman.com/Guides/BelkinMotherboard_cable_assembly.htm You'll also need to open your manual to page 68 If you need the manual for the D845GRG MB click on this link; ftp://download.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/D845GRG/BVRG_English.pdf Between the two you should be able to set the correct colored wire up to its matching pin on the MB.
