Mornin, This may have a very simple soultion but I am beside myself.
I am operating Windows Vista 64 bit on an HP Pavillion Laptop.
On my desktop at home (Windows XP) when I take a ''Link'' for a website from my top ??title bar?? and drag it to my desktop, that manufacturers actual Icon (or Logo for their Link appears) on my desktop, clear visible and quickly relatable.
On my new Vista when I do the same procedure, the Links show up on my desktop as a generic IE internet icon, all the same, all presenting the problem of having to curse over them to actually find out what they are for??? i am thinking this may be a nice security feature added to Vista but i would like to be able to read individual ICONs if at all possible. Any way to make this happen ??? Thankyou In Advance Flipper
