This seems to be a common issue with this model. Try replacing the jumper cable on the unit (which goes from the CD Tray Unit to the CD Head/Display Unit). If that does nothing, you will need to get it serviced professionally, as this would then be an internal issue.

Dvd will not load

Hello
If the power supply is OK, and there is display and all others, the fault will be due to a loose loading belt, or defective loading mechanism. It will be best to replace the loading mechanism rather than try to repair it; provided power supply is OK.

You can try this,

1. Press the Setup button ("Spanner logo")

2. Press the Right arrow button (?) until Tools displays on the control panel, and then press OK .

3. Press the Right arrow button (?) until Fax Log displays on the control panel, and then press OK .

4. Press the Right arrow button (?) until Clear Fax Log displays on the control panel, and then press OK . A message that says the fax memory is clear displays on the control panel.

Machine reads document jam, checked machine seems ok,cannot sent fax.

Hi there!
The error message that you are getting means there's a jammed paper inside the machine particularly in the feeder. This may also appear if the panel is not closed securely. Try to open the control panel and look for any pieces of jammed paper or debris. Closed the front cover or the control panel, it should display the regular screen date/time. Once you have the regular screen load the document on the feeder, the display should change and should ask you to enter the fax number.
Hope this helps!
Please rate if it worked, Thanks

Xerox phaser 6130 is stuck in 8.5 x 11 -- we need A4

When loading paper in the Paper Tray set the paper type and size on the Control Panel before printing.
NOTE: If [None] is selected in the Paper Type pull-down menu in the print driver, printing will default to the Control Panel settings. Printing will be performed only when the settings for the paper size and type configured in the print driver match the settings on the Control Panel. If the settings in the print driver and Control Panel do not match, follow the instructions displayed on the Control Panel.
To select a paper type:
NOTE: Paper type settings must match those of the actual paper loaded in the paper trays; otherwise, image quality problems can occur.
  1. Press the [Menu] button on the Control Panel.
  2. Press the [Up] or [Down] arrow button until 'Tray Settings' is selected on the Display Screen, and then press the [OK] button.
  3. Press the [Up] or [Down] arrow button to select the tray, and then press the [OK] button.
  4. Press the [Up] or [Down] arrow button until 'Paper Type' is selected, and then press the [OK] button.
  5. Press the [Up] or [Down] arrow button to select the correct paper type for the loaded paper, and then press the [OK] button.
  6. Press the [Menu] button to exit.
To select a paper size:

No Disk

When I try to play a DVD, operation seems normal, the unit makes a slight noise like the disk is rotating and "Loading" is displayed. Then after about 30 seconds the message "No Disk" is displayed. Then just the Polaroid screen is displayed. I have lost the remote control but surely the unit will play using the front panel buttons. One thing, only the remote is named as having a Setup Button in the manual but the unit has no such button.
