Question about Ricoh IS 430 Flatbed Scanner
Hi I was hoping someone could help me answer this question. I just recently bought a used scanner and got it shipped. Thing is when I plugged the scanner in...the scanner warms up and then the green and orange light on the scanner keep blinking. When I looked it up in the manual, it indicated that it had a broken lamp. So I bought a new lamp, installed it...but the green and orange light are still blinking. Any ideas as to what the problem might be?
Try replacing the cable (USB?) Often times cables will fail when one wire inside breaks or has intermittent connection.

Also due to strange wiring at the front most scaners and printers favor USB ports behind the CPU more often than not..
